An individual who is blind, made the following painful statement regarding LLM generated image descriptions.
Those descriptions are **useless** for a blind person. When you have vision in both eyes, that statement looks like a very nice extra description of what you have already seen with both working eyes.
He said that when you can't see, the statement is so _convoluted_ has so many unimportant descriptions, that the blind person just totally **disregards** it, dumps it to the trash, and moves on
When I realized that I was just burdening the blind individuals with useless alt texts, I stopped including them, until further notice
I would urge you to include a brief alt text indicating that it's just a screenshot of the article, though, so that vision impaired users won't think they're missing anything.
