@unfa people made businesses with cs skins, that's really interesting and concerning. Valve did a few regulations, but they won't change anything fundamentally unless the current practice is considered illegal in your country.
I was a kid that actually didn't pay for anything and got skins worth of a few games on a sale馃槄 Recently refunded close to 1/4 of Silksong price by earning cards from the same game.

I don't know if that changes anything, but Counter Strike is officially and explicitly not a game for kids. The lowest age restriction I found was 16 years or older, with most countries having an 18+ restriction. Of course, the gambling really sucks and is a disgusting business model, but if it's labelled as entertainment for adults then it's a lot harder to argue legally that the game is harming children. Valve's respecting the laws on paper but reality differs at the cost of children.
