I just realized today is #GroundhogDay.
We don't have groundhogs here (as far as I know), but we do have prairie dogs in some areas.

Young might have a cousin, the yellow-bellied marmot (rock chuck).

@donray Sure enough! We do have marmots high in the mountains. I've heard them, and occasionally seen distant movement, but have never gotten a good look.
And plenty of rock squirrels in my yard ...
