#ScribesAndMakers Feb 2: Do you have any annual traditions not tied to holidays?

My wife and I visit a thoroughly touristified place in BC called Harrison Hot Springs in the fall. When Vancouver is at its greyest, we spend two days in a hotel where we can walk down to a full-size pool that's a hot as a bathtub. I don't feel great about how the hotel stole the hotspring from the locals, and of course it's ALL stolen from the Coast Salish, but damn, man, a hot pool is amazing.
