It's a weird place that we're in. These technofascists are openly announcing that they intend to build a surveillance and control system that would make George Orwell or Aldous Huxley turn in their graves. They openly state that they're against democracy, because it limits their "freedom" to accumulate unchecked financial and political power.
But politicians, journalists and other influential people continue to talk about them like they're just people who run businesses. Nothing to see here.

@prem_k Intriguing. But I question one aspect of the premise. CHT see Trained MOLE platforms as being "like" DataFarming "social media" platforms. For me, they're exactly the same drug in a new box.
For example, Goggle Search has been manipulating people's attention with backprop algorithms for years. Adding a chatbot or "AI summaries" is just a change of the surface level interface. The underlying mechanisms and the political-economic incentives determining what it delivers, haven't changed.
