And I'm sad to hear you felt you the need to be mistake-free when posting to social media, and that it made you feel like you were performing.
But I totally support you moving to blogging if that works better for you.
@jeridansky Thank you! I don't want to make you feel sad. It just felt like, while participating in creator culture for almost 2 decades, I'd feel increasing pressure to perform---to the point i lost part of myself chasing the algorithm. The happy thing is Mastodon has been a lifeline-with a much healthier culture. I believe in Mastodon, and don't plan to leave anytime soon.
My goal is to get away from META products-I'm down to logging in only one day each week.

@t36s thank you! If i don't post on a regular schedule, My goal is to post twice a week-that should be enough to make the habit stick.
I've noticed that' now that I'm on the lookout for interesting things. There are lots of interesting things around me that I can write about! I took a walk during a snow shower today and can't wait to write about and share the pictures!
