Danish medical company Novo Nordisk drops 17 percent today adding to the extreme losses since 2024.
The stock has dropped 60 percent since its highpoint in 2024, and Novo has already fired 9000 employees of which 4600 are jobs lost in Denmark.
The news are troubling for the small country, where the company plays a key role in the economy, being among the largest tax payers of all time.
However, unemployment in Denmark is still extremely low at 2.9 percent.
