Random project ahoy! Been given an old style e-bike (that frankly looks unridden!). Battery locked in frame and decharged to below where the BMS would allow for recharge. So some #lockpicking and then a slow 100ma charge to warm each cell back up. It's now charging and balancing from the charger (under careful monitoring). Let's see if the bike runs tommorow! #BikeTooter

This is so so awesome. How have you built the skills to work with big batteries like this?

@yoctometric just usual hacker/tinkerer! Read lots, built some portable 18650 power banks, learnt about weird fishy tapes and bbattery building.. got a decent constant current and voltage benchtop supply... just accumulated bits and bats here and there. Probably less risk averse than most!
