@petergleick I would argue that the cooption, consolidation, and destruction of formerly trusted institutions of our media is a much larger problem than Jeff Bezos.

NY Times, LA Times, The Atlantic, UPI, and many others have been subverted by the neoaristocracy to disseminate disinformation. There's very few outlets left who can even be marginally trusted to be honest and forthright.
