= There is some point to this toot... maybe=
I need to get off my ass and ditch Windows on my main workstation (thanks for the kick in the ass, Mattay). My main show-stopper is Fusion 360*. I guess I could flip the script on my setup --
currently, Workstation PC is often just a giant web-browser which does RDP to other machines, terminal/SSH, ... and Fusion and Photoshop (and yes, I have alternatives for that, but I'm lazy b/c I can be until I make a change)...
-- and have Windows in a VM for Fusion (I'm not just going to switch to something else overnight).
Anyway...

* - and yes, I know, there are other things out there, some of them even free... but it's what I know and I've tried so many other things... I mean I went to school for computer engineering and that involved a lot of CAD, so I've done CAD, but my brain and most CAD software do not get along creatively. My brain likes solid modeling. I guess I should give FreeCAD another go now it's got more solid tools, but... that's work, yo.
