@alice sometimes I'll just play the same could notes over and over while changing the rhythm. One time it was at last a half hour I didn't playing like 5 notes lol

@alice You're off to a good start! I won't pretend to be a music instructor, but as a longtime bassist, my advice is: work on getting your timing rock solid. Often it's more important for the bass note to hit at the right *time* than on the right *note*.
Do that, and show up for rehearsals and shows on time, and you'll be doing better than a lot of other musicians.
