Julia Baird uses the term patriarchy. I find the label, for what is the very worst aspects of male behaviour, all too dismissive of the horror such behaviour represents. I don’t know if there is an adequate term. We need a label which leaves a sour taste in the mouth and a convulsing churn in the gut. Vile serial rapists, three words where one should suffice, only cover some of the ground in question.

I’ve always liked #JuliaBaird ‘s writing and her thoughtful opinion pieces. Here she expresses disbelief as a cohort of complicit pedos assert they are innocent and indeed incredulous at what has been revealed so far by the #EpsteinFiles

I have a question for the men who had no questions about Epstein

The millions of pages of documents related to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein have shone a light on how many influential men were ready to disregard the experiences of countless women.
