I started acquiring hand tools to build furniture and I am absolutely in love with the heft and construction of this hand plane. It's a Stanley no. 5 type 21 built pre-1981. It just needs a clean up and sharpening and it will be good to go! #woodworking #buildstuff #diy

Initially I started doing #HandToolWoodworking exclusively during the lockdowns because my improvised basement shop didn't have electricity, and it has stuck on since then.
@daniel_bohrer thanks! I have done some rough carpentry like framing houses, but that was all with power tools. Hand tools and the slower pace of working with them will be an adjustment
