They say 80-90% of men are seeking to harm women.
My own stats with every man I’ve encountered…that sounds right. For my experience closer to 90%.
The other 10% are silent and do nothing to compensate the women around them suffering from it. They try to fit in to patriarchy unnoticed. They don’t play the way the abusers play…but they still play & profit from it.

So, for me it really is all men.

Biased much? 😃

@purrperl I agree with that stat. Most white people ARE seeking to harm people of color. I get it why Black people are done with white people. We harm them. Profit from it. Most do nothing to heal or compensate or even acknowledge. Because acknowledging means you might have to change. Like the way you deflect instead of acknowledge bc YOU don’t want to change or grow. YOU see profit.
I face reality compassionately to deal with it. I am capable of change.
I do the work of anti racism.

I don't deflect. I flat out disagree with that perspective. There's truth to it, though what is expressed here is too skewed to be considered truthful, imho.

And I do the work of anti sexism myself, as non-binary, pansexual person of color.

And do you realize we are engaging in culture wars here, instead of class war, which is exactly what the elites waging class war want us to do?

If you won’t face the enormity of the problem, the problem cannot be addressed effectively or understood. Men ARE at war with women. Women suffer because of it. All women suffer because of it.
They need to stop. They need to check each other instead of protect. You chose to punch down, not believe women or stats & call it biased…

@JoBlakely

Okay, have you done any work to dismantle the system, other than spout prejudices from the comfort of your armchair?

I just spent two years homeless, because I stood up to the system as a #whistleblower
Faced real persecution, spent 6 nights in jail. Finally escaped to Japan. So of course I am a fraud, and you're totally earnest. 😃 ( OMG! I smiled. Do those need a trigger warning these days? )

@JoBlakely

"Punch down" is a term from class warfare. The upper classes punch down on the lower classes.

The elite want to divide the world: women v/s men, black v/s white, cis v/s trans, gay v/s straight, Russian v/s Ukrainian, Indian v/s Pakistani, etc.

All so that we wont unite and fight the class war: rich v/s poor
which is the root of all our discontent.

Read "The Myth of Male Power" by Warren Farrell. Poor women have more in common with poor men, than either of them do, with the rich.

@purrperl
So if it doesn’t apply to you, & you claim to be anti sexist, why the abuse back with an insincere mocking smiley? Only hit dogs holler. You are a fraud. You projected your own hypocrisy onto me. It comes down to people fighting back. And I can tell a lot by who people push back against & why. It tells me you want to downplay this enormity. That you aren’t anti-sexist at all by your actions. That you won’t dismantle the system. You’ll do the work of shaming those who do & try.

@JoBlakely

If you find even a smile, a mocking gesture instead of a friendly one, then you are next-level paranoid. Snap out of it.

Anyway, let's not continue this discussion. It's not going to go anywhere, since you can't see me as a person, only as someone with facial hair.

I can see you as a person, instead of a white person.
