Keir Starmer’s authority collapsed in the House of Commons this week, and it will not recover. This video explains why his judgment failed, why sacking aides will not save him, and why Labour is now a hollowed-out party with no credible future leadership.

But this crisis goes much further than Starmer. It exposes systemic failure in Labour, growing paralysis in government, and deeper institutional rot that threatens the Union and the monarchy itself.

One can only hope!

@TCMuffin He'll still get a good pension, having wrecked the LP, & maybe that was his mission.

@TCMuffin They have done/are doing exactly the same thing that brought down the #Tories. But they still won’t listen. I really hope the #GreenParty and even #LibDems can fill in the vacancies asap, if there are elections. I do not want to see #ReformLtd benefitting from this at all. Also, it should be particularly opportune for #PlaidCymru and #SNP to push for more autonomy with a view to independence for Wales & Scotland. Northern Ireland can realistically consider that border poll & #Think32

@HarriettMB

I agree, wholeheartedly 👍

As Richard says, Labour was the force holding together the Union because of its previous popularity in Wales and Scotland.

That's long gone now.

After more than 100 years of supremacy in Wales, Labour will no longer be the de facto political leaders.

From the latest polling, it seems that only the English borders will vote Reform...the rest of the country is strongly Plaid Cymru...
