Summer and I escaped the construction noise by running down the hill to the beach. We always bring home all the garbage we can carry.
Today Summer found some pieces she was particularly proud of. I picked up mostly empty bottles and spent shotgun shells. Summer finds more colorful pieces.
Even our small efforts make a difference.

This area is open to waterfowl hunting in the fall.
I pick up spent shells every year.

@NorcalGma2 I loved the 2 years I lived up the hill from the beach.
This was in the late ‘80s are there was much less garbage. I always picked up what I could.
