@blogdiva Not just the Spice Girls... We also had in the UK 1990s musical tapestry Massive Attack, Suede, Oasis, Elastica, Pulp, the Happy Mondays and Stone Roses in the Britpip wave, Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy, Underworld, the massive rave culture birth that spawned many an international dancefloor banger to name just a few. It wasn't all just zigazigah here, the popularity of the Spice Girls' 'music' remains a mystery to me (altho I have a secret love of Stop Right Now) but they were far from the sole representatives of British 1990s music.
