Please check if you have a gaming club in manageable reach of you. My life is filled with fine people, some now dearest friends and others great gaming acquaintances because of my IRL gaming club. When I travel to events with my club t-shirt people I don't know come and say hello.

If you don't, start one. I can advise. It's not as hard as you think.
