Do you like the colour BIEGE? Do you like beige and railway tracks and sluice gates? Then I have THE GAME for you! Yes, YOU! #BoardGames #BrettSpiele #j2s
Morning Mastodonians!
It actually got above freezing yesterday for the first time in a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, I was in the office, so I didn’t have time to take the dogs for a walk. It should be almost as warm #Today, so I am looking forward to #walkies. Even my phone was complaining that I hadn’t been getting my steps in. If I were really dedicated, I would fire up the under-desk treadmill. I should do a bit more shoveling outside to give the dogs a path for wandering.
It was a spirited hockey game yesterday morning, though we lost 3-2. The bad guys were able to put home a couple of tough rebounds and a good shot from the face-off dot that beat me far side. It was frustrating that I couldn’t pull out a win for my team. But it was a good skate, and everybody worked up a sweat. I showered and went into the office, where we had a gaming lunch. Unfortunately, I was too busy to join. I did bring a Mystery Rummy game and Take Six.

Something I worked on in the weekend. As if I need ANOTHER #dungeon project to keep me busy? #GameDevelopment
Well we will see, I have some ideas to make this different from a normal dungeon crawler loosely based on my #boardgames.
ASMR: transferring the wooden books from the baggie to the bag. #BoardGames
Spoils.
A Place for All My Books is one I've actually played and had on my wishlist, Flow I've seen the film of, and Wispwood just looks cool.
Also, my Extra Pepper expansion for Sea Salt & Paper FINALLY arrived. #BoardGames

Went to a small games con. Not much there.
Went to a games shop nearby, spent £[coughing fit] on three games, two of which I'd never even heard of before today.
Think of it as a treat to myself for getting through January. #BoardGames

On the surface, The Grimpen Affair is a FREE 1970s British folk horror tabletop role playing game built from the Department 23 core rulebook. It is a single adventure that should take 4-5 people an afternoon to complete.
But that’s not the whole story...

Wombat Poo is cubic. And stackable, apparently.
Phil Walker-Harding has released a new game under his and Meredith’s Joey imprint. It’s on my radar, and not just because Phil is such a nice chap.
