I woke up early this morning from a dream that I got nabbed and fucked up by ICE at the train station.
Then I got dressed and went to catch my train.
No ICE at the station, but fuck, that shouldn't be something anyone has to think about, much less experience.

@alice saw this again today, and it just reminded me of how I've been getting stuck on thoughts of returning home and finding that ICE has been here and abducted everyone while I was out

Context matters.
Here in Germany ä, especially on a train station ICE = Inter-City-Express, the high speed train , similar to the french TGV or japanese Shinkansen (well, less perfect than the latter, to be honest).

I at first was „completely on the wrong train“ (literal translation of the German version of „into the wrong direction“) when reading „ICE at the train station“ … 🥴
