@venelles turn off its wifi and attach a Linux computer to it.
@donamasta That is indeed one solution, not sure my wife would like it though. Maybe a non-google tv box.
@venelles try setting it up and handle the maintenance yourself. You have so much control. Can use VPN, ad blockers etc... For quick access, you can save all your usual channels or streaming services in a bookmark folder in a go to browser.
