Pot plant @pixel_dailies I’ve been noodling on my SnowEmu 128k Mac for a while on little pot plants. Not super happy with any of them, but today’s #pixel_dailies is a freebie so despite my work spilling close to 10pm, I can participate!

What would I need to get this exact paint program running?
(I just got the Snow emulator and a ROM for a 128k Mac, but all I get is a disk icon with a flashing question mark, so I probably need a specific disk image, but I don't exactly know what to search for. 😅)
@duke_of_germany Hi there - there are some tricky things about disk images, some don't work with Snow, but download number 2 on this list http://macintoshgarden.org/apps/macpaint will work. (direct download http://download.macintoshgarden.org/apps/macpaint_1_5.zip) Expand the archive and the file ending in .dsk is the one to point Snow at. It has MacPaint and the system software to boot the system.

A few days ago, I watched a YouTube-Video of an artist drawing in MacPaint. It looked so fascinating, but all I could get working were some browser-based ports that did not work so well.
And then I came across your post by chance. 🙂 Now I can play around with it!
