馃枻 For Black History Month, we're highlighting Resisterhood! This award-winning documentary follows follows six diverse Americans as they fight for social justice on the streets and in the halls of power, including lifelong civil rights activist Margaret Morrison.

Margaret Morrison first marched from Selma to Montgomery in 1965, alongside John Lewis & Martin Luther King, Jr, & she's still marching today. Margaret's section in the Resisterhood Learning Guide focuses on the driving question: What does it mean to sustain a lifelong commitment to social justice? The scenes of her passing on her family legacy of civic engagement to her young grandson will grab the hearts of learners of all ages.

Teach about Black History, Activism, Civic Participation & Social Justice with Resisterhood! For grades 10-12, & adult/higher ed, plus campus screenings & community education.
