On Instagram I rarely posted anything of my own and rarely saw posts from friends that were actually created by them. Instead we’ve all been sharing between us stuff made by other people that in addition to all the ads was more than likely brought to our attention via algo.

None of this is new or eye opening. I’ve followed a lot of really smart and funny and interesting people for years and I’ll miss them. But I think I’ll ultimately be happier. And I’ll be contributing where I think I need to.
