I couldn't find a good 3D printable case for my new Heltec V4 Meshtastic node which can fit a 18560 battery - until I found a comment in the model for the V3.

The user mentioned to remove 2 two parts in the center frame part. So I imported the STL in FreeCAD, removed the 2 parts and voilà! It fits!

Oh - stupid me: I should have taken another photo from the bottom before assembling. The removed parts are on the other side.

The first on is the rib under the display which would block the GPS connector and the second one are the two edges which are places under the buttons.

Update: Forgot to link the comment/make which explains this: https://www.printables.com/make/3157001

Photo of a Heltec V4 board placed on a cyan 3D printed part which belongs to a case which I assembled. The 18650 battery holder is already connected and visible in the background.

The same Heltec V4 which is now inside the finished case. The front and back are printed in dark blue, the center part and sides are cyan. It has a black whip antenna and is placed on a transparent plastic box with electronics in front of a paper wall.
