@daj I enjoyed this so much! It's so perfectly written, and so surreal. The "contraption" and the napkin are really impressive.
@iwritelike Thank you for that Alexandra. Very kind of you to say so.
Interestingly, I wrote the post using I Write Like, as a test. I had just discovered it and was intrigued to see how it worked. I am now on the train, once again bashing out some words for my next blog post, and using IWA.
I feel a blog post about IWA coming on too 😆
@daj I am thrilled and impressed at the same time! It means the world to me that you've been trying I Write Like. Thank you so much!
I'm also really impressed it's a recent post. It felt like a carefully drafted work: the settings, the switching between scenes, and the perfect choice of words. I would have never guessed it was something spontaneous!
@iwritelike I wrote it in around fifteen minutes sitting in the hotel lounge after my meal, on my tablet. Even the photo was added to my blog post during that session. Technology can be useful sometimes.
Today's words have been bashed out on the laptop on the train (using IWL). I've not published yet as the signal is a bit ropey as we hurtle through the Highlands of Scotland.
@daj This comment creates fireworks in my mind! First of all: fifteen minutes?! To be able to write so well in that time is a superpower, though I imagine it's also the result of years of practice. It's such a great feeling to know you are creating your new post using IWL!
Also, "hurtle through the Highlands of Scotland" sounds like both poetry and music to me.
@iwritelike 😊 oh,I just dabble in writing. I enjoy it but I've never used my 'powers' for anything serious.
