This further motivates me to have a more user-friendly alternative to firewall IP blocking for reaction for bans due to HTTP/S traffic ↓
I plan to write in 2026 a #reaction plugin that acts like an HTTP middleware (like #anubis or #iocaine) and will respond a custom error message (or redirect to iocaine etc) to blocked IPs.
This will permit to avoid firewall bans, make users aware of the issue, and potentially give them a way to solve false positives by contacting the admin (automatic unban not in scope for now)
