The only thing tougher than building a fort is defending it. (Part 1)

14 second video of 2 squirrels - a gray on the left and a red on the right. Both are looking for seeds that have fallen from the bird feeder above them. As seen in a previous picture, the red squirrel has built a fort that has an opening right behind the metal post. As the video continues the gray is sifting through the snow while the red looks on in nervous anticipation. As the gray gets closer, the red moves up, just a few inches from the gray and starts aggressively barking. The gray doesn’t look deterred, rather it pauses before jumping onto the red, forcing the littler one into its fort. It then charges the fort while the red stays inside. The video ends with the gray just going about its business eating more seeds.
