The choir brought in isicathamiya harmonies and these incredible rhythms that make the song feel like it actually belongs here. Apparently, it’s the only translated version Queen has ever officially licensed, it took them two years to get the rights and the blessing from Brian May and Roger Taylor.
The idea was to imagine what the song would sound like if Freddie Mercury’s music had stayed on the continent where he was born, Africa. 🌍
