if you use @zotero and @libreoffice you can add a shortcut to add/edit citation in Libreoffice: Tools/Customize/Tab:Keyboard
then choose the key-combination in the list above and select Application Marcros/My Macros/Zotero/Zotero/ZoteroAddEditCitation and press the "assign" button (top-right located)
