Protest Thread #89: Resistance dance party!
The bridge trolls hosted yet another come one come all protest/party downtown this evening, and we had great turnout despite the cold! Lots of people in costumes in addition to the usual suspects. Other people just brought signs, a great time was had by all. We were loud, we were cheerful, we got a ton of honks from traffic. Downtown is heavily blue, but our joyful protests are there to lift spirits too, not just change minds.

Yes, we had a few idiots in traffic. That always happens. At one point some fascist decided to roll coal at us, and in a moment of cosmic harmony the song "Short Dick Man" IMMEDIATELY came on. We laughed our heads off. Normally that song is directed at ICE, but hey, it works for people who support ICE too. (We had a lot of anti-ICE signs and banners.)
I was waving my Ukrainian flag as always, and tomorrow I've got another protest marking the fourth anniversary of the full scale invasion.
