Sunday a team of civics nerds including me worked with the local newspaper (host), the town moderator (moderator), the local music hall (venue) and the local public access channel (streaming) and organized a Selectboard candidate forum with the four people running for two seats. 100 people showed up either in person or online. Additional bonus of a quilting exhibit happening at the venue meant all the photos look cool. It was tedious work getting it all set up but very very worth it. #Vermont

@platypus I'm going to go see the rest of the exhibit today.
@jessamyn yay!! For various reasons a couple of us Mennonites went to the UMC Ash Wednesday service and then we were ensnared by quilts hanging around their sanctuary.
@platypus HERE ARE SOME. While there weren't as many "Fuck the police" quilts as I may have liked, these were some standouts. I've included them with their little cards so you can see what the artists were going for. I did my best with the alt text but apologies if I missed things.
