A maybe very peculiar question but I wonder if anyone has been using Cryptomator on android for their note-
taking app to synchronise with a desktop.

I wasn't able to find any software architecture document about it and there aren't enough info online about how cryptomator performs on android in practice. I've read both good and bad reviews however none of them addresses this particular scenario, and I would like to estimate the practicality and feasibility before I commit to it.

(Sorry might be long)

1. it's for PKM so there will be frequent editing on encrypted files

ie the smaller they can break down the sync process the better it will perform IRL but there is no information about that. Unlike Veracrypt when there are documentation stating that it is encrypting the entire drive for every change

2. How often do they encrypt the local copy and sync with other location?

3. How do they handle conflict management?

4. How are the local device security being managed? Does it have to be unlocked every time with master key, or does it offer biometric options or PIN option like some other apps such as bitwarden?

The potential candidate of note-taking app is Obsidian if that matters.
