Going through another box of unfinished art today, this time from a class I took several years ago, taught by Carmen Mensink, a Dutch painter of traditional Tibetan thangkas. I have 7 out of 8 auspicious symbols finished in pencil. I think finishing all 8 will be my art therapy. Does anyone have a recommendation for gold ink? Traditionally, these have a bit of silver or gold in them. I would need to be able to use it with a very fine brush.

It’s not ink, but finetec is the highest pigmented metallic gold watercolor paint I’ve used. I have the gold, bronze, silver mica set.

for real. But also so many expensive art supplies I had to have to try and almost never use. I wish there were art product testing places, so you can learn and try different products before you buy. I know some suppliers do them in art clubs, but most are on zoom these days & so limited.
