Three views of tonight’s full moon: a composite (1) combining the details of a Dwarf 3 capture (2) with some of the glow of an image from a Celestron reflector scope (3).

March’s Worm Moon is also known as the Warming Moon (Shoshone), the Spring Moon (Passamaquoddy), and the Moon of the Whispering Wind (Hopi). In a few hours it will also be a Blood Moon, in the last lunar eclipse until 2028. Fingers crossed I can capture it.
