I finished the painting. I like what I did with the background and evergreens. It needed to tell the story of the north woods of Minnesota without competing with the birds. I think the birds look good, but I’m not fond of the legs. I tried different ways to paint them, but they don’t always look natural. Hopefully, my friends won’t notice!
