Just watched Star Trek TNG S3E10 The Defector. Love that Trek. Picard the strategist, but also doing eventing he can to prevent bloodshed.

I was a latch key kid. Never religious though I was raised Catholic. I've been told by friends, some very religious, that I have very strong moral code. I honestly often wonder if it was TNG that helped me build those beliefs. Not like I had anyone, but the crew of the Enterprise around to teach me. 😁
