Can anyone recommend a #PeerTube instance for hosting long original video interviews?
Am happy to donate towards upkeep - indeed would prefer to know there was a model for paying for hosting, moderation and maintenance, as would like to think the instance will still be up in a decade's time.

I ended up with own instance via @weingaertner_it in the end. Covered by GDPR, "100% green electricity", £6/month and lets me use the open.movie domain I've been sitting on since shutting my last expensive attempt at PeerTube a few years ago.

Just sharing the Legal Eagle video. Jamie Raskin is being interviewed and states some incredible things.
300GB of docs have been released. That's 3 million documents that aren't released and those 3 million are 39,700GB. That has to be video. They really think we're this dumb. And they'll keep denying it to the very end, because they've absolutely corrupted the entire system and it looks like the system is holding.
Epstein had a 60 count federal indictment, negotiated down to 1 count of state prostitution where he served 18 months and got to work from home 12 hours a day. They did this in the open. They thought they'd get away with this forever.

I’ve been asked on TV hits and interviews lately to explain why decentralized social media is better, especially re: Mastodon.
How would you explain the benefits of a platform like Mastodon and the fediverse to someone in just a few sentences? How would you make the argument that platforms like Mastodon allow for more free expression than big tech controlled apps?
Would love to hear people’s thoughts! Trying to make my arguments most effective

Bonfire doesn't seem to handle NodeBB well, YET. There is a bug in that was started this year. Looks like Julian was just on it last week. I tossed my hat in to see I need this fixed. But that's awesome. That's EXACTLY the use case for this. So excited. Great job man. 😊

Just found out about ESG funds.
Environmental, Social and Governance Funds.
Will they be perfect? NOPE. Will I lose out on tons of money? Probably.
Will I live knowing I attempted and have a bit more of a clear conscience? ABSOLUTELY!

@ozoned it's a nightmare to invest ethically unless you have the time to investigate everything in great detail 😔
I spent weeks earlier this year moving what little investments / pension I have out of US orgs and into more ethical / sustainable options but acknowledge that it's going to cost me in the long run.
My old 'climate plan' pension was 80% US stocks and a large part of that was the so called magnificent 7 which beggars belief! The new one is only 12% US and none of the 7.
@not_a_label@toot.lgbt Honestly, I don't care about my retirement. I've thought for a long time there was massive fraud in the market. How can Tesla lose what was it like 75% of it's profits and it's stock go up the next day?
So I'm fine taking the hit, as I've never expected to be able to retire, even though I save.
But I just spoke to my banker who talked to me about ESG Funds. Environmental, Social and Governance funds. They're not going to be perfect, but they'll be better than right now.
