🌟 Now playing! 🌟 This week's episode of our Live & Unfiltered Show, where we work on music live from our studio.
We try to see if we remember the new song idea that we came up with last week. Plus, we go over a few songs from our music library.

Interested in working at DAIR? We're hiring a communications lead, who we needed yesterday. Is that you? Please apply. Is that people you know? Please share the job ad with them so that they apply.

💥💥💥 No "AI" generated applications please. We read every application. E.g. we read through nearly 600 internship applications a couple of years back. It's pretty easy to tell whether someone is blasting slop or truly spending the time to apply.

UPDATES IN THREAD BELOW!

#Heliboard is gathering gesture typing data, so that we can implement a #FOSS alternative to the closed gesture typing library Heliboard currently relies on. The data we collect will be released under the CC BY-SA 4.0

I also made a video including details & instructions.

Boosts Please! More diversity of people & languages in the data, is better!

I love the #Fediverse. I love #Peertube. Our strength is: we're decentralized. Our weakness is: we're decentralized. How do we find like instances and things WITHOUT an algorithm?

Well I run tubefree.org. I know Makertube.net is a good instance. I follow that instance. However, I trust the admins there, why not follow who they follow? Thus we have a chain of trust.

How do I do this easily though? I came up with a script: git.btfree.org/BTFree/PTIndex

Want to USE the index on YOUR Peertube so you follow everyone I follow, and follow those I trust and who they follow? Go to your Peertube - Settings - General - Federation - Check "Automatically follow platforms of a public index" - Index URL: ptindex.btfree.org .

Want to be involved in the chain of trust? Message me! I'm here @ozoned , @ozoned@piefed.social , @ozoned:matrix.org , ozoned.01 on Signal, ozoned@btfree.org via email.

There's a really sweet interview with @NorcalGma2 at:

It's nice how @ozoned is emphasising community with these Fireside Fedi interviews 🙂

If you're #American , please make sure you've frozen your #credit like 5 years ago... If not, then PLEASE do it tomorrow.

#FediForum2026 is coming up in April, 28th - 30th. If you don't know what #FediForum is, it's an online #unconference where we all get together, talk about what projects folks are working on, meet each other, etc. I've been to two of them last year and I've met so many fantastic folks there.

What other #conference are people going to that is related to the #Fediverse ?

I know #Fedicon is sometime later this year. I've already missed #FOSDEM but that'll come around again, next February I think?
