@TCMuffin@toot.wales my doctor was incredible. I'm some pain, it'll pick up 24-48 hours after, but honestly shocked the pain isn't anywhere near as bad as I was expecting. Definitely tired, but have to get my boys to bed.
And yes. Looking forward to being pain free and back to working out, focusing on the important things.

I absolutely love open source. So I'm super excited to see RISC-V really progressing well. Just saw a video from explainingcomputers.com/risc... that shows MILK-V Jupiter 2 making some excellent progress. It looks like it's a fully functional desktop out of the box. Though speeds and obviously software limitations aren't quite there yet. But WOW has RISC-V come a long way.

My 9 year old just found out about #Portal . It's from my #Steam library and we have Family Sharing set up.
He's SO excited about it. My 6 year old is watching him and said it gives him the "heebie jeebies".
It's 2026 and Portal is stil AMAZING. 😊

I've never been on normal social media so I don't know etiquette, but where do Fedizens stand on replying to someone's post and adding a hashtag?
Example: Someone talking about animals and I reply with #animals .
Is that considered rude at all? Is this something we should try to do? Social tagging? Crowd sourced tagging?
Since there aren't really algorithms it's on us to help build out and make connections we want to see.
This thing takes more work than traditional social, because we didn't take shortcuts. But we have the opportunity to learn new ways of building out OUR network.

@ozoned@btfree.social getting itch integrated into the games themselves may be harder, but integrating an existing software @nodebb@fosstodon.org could work. Create a new category for each game, etc. 🙂

Note that a couple of years ago a number of #fedijam #fedijam2022 were organized via #itch and there was a lot of interest to participate at the time.

I absolutely love @itchio@mastodon.social . It's the best way to find new and interesting games.
I see that #Itch has links to different socials.
I wonder how difficult it would be, should they be interested, in actually implementing #ActivityPub inside of Itch?
This would allow software developers to just use Itch as their platform to post their games and communicate with others.
Itch already supports a comments section. Configuring AP anyone anywhere in the world could the comment on a game as well.
We could follow a developer from our open socials and when a developers posts a comment or posts a game, we'd get it everywhere.
Just thinking this would be really interesting idea. I don't know how much work or how feasible it would be, but it'd support developers, it'd support Itch ( by allowing folks on the Fediverse anywhere to follow and know that it's only Itch that you can do this on) and it'd support the wider Fediverse as we whole.
Love to hear thoughts, comments, suggestions, and even if it's just a silly idea that isn't really practical.
