Is there a plan to also support Android?

@stefano Sometimes I wish I were half productive as Stefano is.
@stefano This is very cool. Makes me want to switch back to Apple but I love my Pixel phone.
@stefano interested to try this, as a Mastodon and Snac user!
@stefano that is terrific news! \o/ Thank you!
@stefano That sounds very cool! Will it be open source? I’ve been wanting to dabble in iOS development for a bit and I’d love to build and test this!
@jana I'm not sure about it. As it will probably cost something, I could release it as closed - at least at the beginning. Maybe I could open source it when I'll have covered the expenses.
I'm not totally sure 🙂
@stefano With iOS apps I've often seen the model where the app is open source, but offered as a payed app on the App Store, exactly to cover those Apple Developer expenses.
And then sure, people could build the app themselves and use it, but then they either have to deal with things like AltStore to re-sign it or have a developer account themselves, so it's easier to just get it as offered.
I think that would a good model that would fit the overall spirit of things and it would definitely be a first in comparison to the other iOS fediverse clients. Maybe there could be some contributions to it, etc.
Anyways, I'd be interested in testing it ^^
@jana Thanks. I'll consider the whole thing.
@stefano What a great news! 🤩
Welcome #MastoBlaster 👨🏼🍼 :freebsd: :verified_coffee:
@stefano I would gladly pay for it, it sounds like a great app! And a responsible use of on-device "AI" that keeps the user in control and Apple's hands off their data, that is the best approach to using that kind of technology.
@kaidenshi thank you. Privacy is important, so it's the best trade-off possible.
@Linux I haven't a great knowledge of Misskey but yes, I'll consider to investigate
yes make sense. I use Moshidan too, it seems to have best balance between being functional and lightweight at the same time.
This is AMAZING!
Go #MastoBlaster!
