@benpate@mastodon.social reading these FEPs and seeing definition of terms always reminds me of reading laws and how things have to be clearly defined. Because communication is so inefficient, especially in text, interpretation is so easy to get incorrect compared to original intent. But it makes new appreciate all the work even more. I absolutely love this idea and greatly appreciate all the work you and others do. Thank you.

Starting to get really excited for #FOSSY ! 10 days until we get to Vancouver. Idk if I'll be able to show off a slide deck while doing the panel, but I'm so excited that I created one just in case.

Only hope folks find it as fun and silly as I intend. 😄

That's my goal though. There's so much going on in the world we have to remember to step back, be silly, laugh, enjoy time with people, forget about all of the difficulties of the world. Let's just come together and have fun.

@TCMuffin@toot.wales my doctor was incredible. I'm some pain, it'll pick up 24-48 hours after, but honestly shocked the pain isn't anywhere near as bad as I was expecting. Definitely tired, but have to get my boys to bed.

I absolutely love open source. So I'm super excited to see RISC-V really progressing well. Just saw a video from explainingcomputers.com/risc... that shows MILK-V Jupiter 2 making some excellent progress. It looks like it's a fully functional desktop out of the box. Though speeds and obviously software limitations aren't quite there yet. But WOW has RISC-V come a long way.

My 9 year old just found out about #Portal . It's from my #Steam library and we have Family Sharing set up.

He's SO excited about it. My 6 year old is watching him and said it gives him the "heebie jeebies".

It's 2026 and Portal is stil AMAZING. 😊
