Today's #FreeSoftwareAdvent is F-Droid, a Free software app store for Android. (As in, the app is FOSS, and the apps available in the default repo are FOSS.)

F-Droid also runs the default repository used by the F-Droid app, but anyone can run their own repository, and users can add that repo and install apps from there (e.g. Bitwarden does this).

Works perfectly with GrapheneOS :)

These $25 laptops are magnitudes faster than my first laptop I bought for thousands of dollars. Gigahertz! Gigabytes! Multi cores! And color screen with a battery that lasts. Can run Unix like operating systems at blazing speeds with thousands of concurrent internet connections! $25. What a time to be alive!

I cannot confirm this, but my cousin, who lives near the airport in Ontario, California, says that the storms continue to menace her area, and that Wrightwood and Mt. Baldy have both begun evacuations. Her best friends backyard is sinking, and her own front yard has completely washed away. Her dog Poppy, is very stressed out, as I imagine most animals are. She has stocked up on food, water, paper towels, and dog food.

Someone unloaded a _lot_ of Dell Latitude 3340 laptops on Goodwill. Most seem to have 4GB of RAM and no charger, but they seem to be working.

They're $25 each with 1 cent shipping. 5 years ago I would have been jumping on this, but my needs are currently met for these specs.
