A3. My e-bike¹ isn't that much heavier than a normal bike, so it isn't that bad to ride without assistance.
They now have a conversion kit that only requires a modified rear disc, then the drive unit just clips on when you need it. Looks like a neat solution, although I haven't tried it.

Tomorrow's ride is the Emblehope Trail. I've never done the route before, the weather looks grim, but barring mechanicals it'll get done anyway. I'll report back tomorrow, hopefully…
