Schade, dass ihr bei #meshcore nicht mitmacht. Da oben bei euch ist noch eine Abdeckungslücke.
Hier mal ein Bild von SH im #meshcore, von Nodes, die ich in Braunschweig empfangen habe. In meiner Discoveryliste sind tatsächlich nun mehr als 3000 Nodes, davon 1900 mit Positionsangabe, in Deutschland. Das sind Nodes, die ich empfangen habe.
Ihr müsstet euch ja locker an Kiel und Itzehoe anbinden können.

Arbeiten, MeshMonitor Virtal Node mit Matrix Kanal verbinden, Essen, Einkaufen, Kochen für morgen, OpenGraph Bild für https://mesh-fl.de basteln (nicht meine Stärke) und am Ende einen neuen VPN Server für Familie im Iran basteln, weil der alte gesperrt wurde.
Letzteres geht super einfach mit Amnezia: https://amnezia.org/ - und hält hoffentlich jetzt eine Weile.

This was another crazy (good) day for #RDUMesh #MeshCore growth.
We got a repeater on a 500’ radio tower.
We’ve got ✅ approval for 14 more towers and a couple of high rise buildings.
Two fire stations set up community repeaters on their comms masts.
There are other repeaters that popped up that I’m not even mentioning because there’s just a lot.
And there’s more in the works.
At some point I need to slow down and figure out the 501(c)(3) stuff.
Proof of concept to layer the IRC protocol on top of MeshCore; Use your favorite IRC client to join the mesh!
#RDUMesh is growing faster than I can keep up. KB2UUL surprised us all this morning with a really well-placed repeater in southeast Wake County. Firefighters in Chapel Hill put up a repeater an hour later that had strong links into the broader #MeshCore deployment. #RaleighNC #DurhamNC #BullCity #ChapelHill #RDU

MeshMapper is just awesome coverage system for MeshCore. It gives really nice insights of repeater coverages+distances. Here in Tampere people have gone nuts on this, driving around. Longest two-way communcation (from car roof) was 24km.
Where is LoRa technology headed with regard to Meshtastic versus Meshcore?
I was recently going to buy and set up a couple of Meshtastic nodes/repeaters but decided to wait as I get the impression that Meshcore is gaining consensus as the better technology.
I'm aware that most LoRa electronics can be flashed with either, but I see no point in going too far down the path of learning about one, only to have to switch to the other.
