Rather than going to senior department or #FBI officials, #Trump spoke directly to the frontline agents doing the granular work of a politically sensitive investigation in which he has a large personal stake.

Last month, Trump, in falsely declaring once again that the #2020election had been stolen from him, left little doubt about his intentions.

“People will soon be prosecuted for what they did,” he said in remarks at the WEF in Davos, Switzerland.
