This is a colour street photo in portrait format of an Asian lady in a saffron coloured sari (saree) walking along a covered walkway which has the woodwork painted a saffron colour. Chinatown, Singapore (2012).
The camera is looking along a long colonial-era covered walkway that fades out of focus as it bends to the left in the distance, about ten metres away. On the right side is the plastered wall of the front of a restored historic two floor low-rise mixed use: some business, some residential building. Inset into the wall are doors and windows, but with the camera positioned close to the wall, the doors, windows and interiors cannot be seen. The floor is mainly red terracotta tiles with grey stones surrounding the terracotta. On the left are vertical wooden pillars supporting the building overhead the walkway. There is a single green, bushy plant between two of the pillars. The pillars, overhead beams and walls on the right are painted a rich saffron colour. Walking away from the camera and along the right side, close to the wall is an Indian lady wearing an ornate saffron and gold coloured sari, coordinating perfectly with the building she is walking past.
