The has been a lot of rain recently so the Abhainn Loch na h-Oidhche was still flowing well and over the central stepping stones. I'd have got wet feet and is potentially dodgy if Skye slipped in. So we didn't cross. It's no bother, it still makes for a 7+ mile walk which is enough for a short winter's day.

Skye sitting before the ford over the Abhainn Loch na h-Oidhche. She looking back at me as if to ask to cross. I got her to wait as I wanted to check the ford was safe enough to cross. Water is flowing fast over the central stepping stones making it a bit dodgy. There had been a lot of rain in the preceding days.
