When someone posts about something they've read or watched, but never actually mention what it is, but add a link at the bottom to a blog or whatever, I never click that.

@FinchHaven There seems to be some activity now, albeit dubious. The whole thing is bananas, even if it's just an experiment.
It mostly seems to be Mastodon clickbait, and it seems to be working

I get so annoyed by how both MSM and clickbait indies like Meidas Touch, cover the protests, the general strike.
“Protests erupt…”
1. Lead with a date & time on your breaking news you just released especially if after the fact.
The “erupt” part makes it sound chaotic, violent, spontaneous, now…instead of calm, nonviolent, planned, yesterday.
They choose this framing bc they want the fire.
