I think it is about time to bring up the fact that the perceived benefits of Okinawa and Mediterranean diets have already been debunked back in 2024 by Dr Saul Justin Newman. If you take his blue zone longevity investigation into consideration as well it dates back to 2010s.

Just thought of this, that's all.

We hear a lot about the #MediterraneanDiet, especially at this time of year, when so many people are making healthy eating resolutions.

And for good reason: there is loads of evidence that following a Mediterranean diet is good for your health.

But I've been thinking it's odd that we almost never hear about the Japanese diet. Japan has the longest life expectancy of any country in the world. Surely their diet must have something to do with it?
